Job Description

Business Unit:  Water Sourcing




This position is expected to develop business plans to grow the company’s market share and revenue by strategically developing existing business relationships and evaluating and capitalizing on new market opportunities with a heavy emphasis on Water Sourcing and Water Infrastructure including pipelines and disposals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Duties include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Work directly with sales, management, and client representatives and decision makers to manage the expansion of existing business

  • Identify, evaluate and propose new business opportunities for cultivation by sales

  • Create and present presentations and proposals for clients and management

  • Continually evaluate the company’s competitive environment and market trends and communicate findings and recommend actions to management

  • Create strategic sales growth plans and processes to enhance company’s market position

  • Create, track and maintain accurate client, prospect, and records

  • Report to the President concerning weekly, monthly, and annual growth KPI's

  • Interface regularly with operations and support at all levels

  • Assist with training of sales and operations staff



  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and/or business development

  • Some operations management experience is considered an advantage

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction

  • Experience in personnel mentoring and training

  • Must be willing to travel
