HOW SELECT BEGAN
Peak Rentals was founded in Gainesville, TX. Later that year, the company enters the Water Transfer and Rentals space for the first time and becomes what is now known as Select Water Solutions.
2008
SELECT EXPANDS
Select Water Solutions expands its Water Transfer services and enters the Well Testing space for the first time.
2009
SELECT BEGINS WORK IN EAST TEXAS/NORTH LOUISIANA
Select Water Solutions begins work in the Haynesville Shale in North Louisiana and East Texas and enters into a strategic 5-year contract with an independent producer.
2010
SELECT BEGINS WORK IN THE EAGLEFORD
Select Water Solutions begins work in the Eagleford and Marcellus Shales in North Texas and Pennsylvania.
2011
SELECT BEGINS WORK IN THE DJ BASIN
Select Water Solutions begins work in the DJ Basin in Colorado and further expands its Water Transfer services in the Fayetteville, Marcellus, Barnett, and Woodfords Shales.
Later that same year, Select begins work in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota and acquires water rights off Lake Sakakawea.
2017
SELECT GOES PUBLIC
Select Water Solutions begins work in New Mexico and acquires tremendous water rights. Later that same year, Select goes public on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker WTTR and merges with long-time competitor Select Chemistry.
CORPORATE
Select’s Corporate service line includes a wide array of support functions including Accounting, Safety, Human Resources, Information Technology, and much more. These support functions support operations by providing resources and subject matter expertise.
DISPOSALS
Select’s Disposal Solutions service line operates and maintains disposal wells. Disposal Solutions employees provide oversight of incoming deliveries of waste water, monitor well conditions, and provide general maintenance of disposal wells.
WATER TRANSFER
Select’s Water Transfer service line collects and moves water through poly pipe, lay flat hose and underground pipeline systems from water sources to customer frac jobs. Water Transfer employees work on crews and are responsible for setting up, operating, and rigging down jobs safely. Their work is laborious and performed outdoors in all types of conditions.
WELL TESTING
Select’s Well Testing and Flowback service line provides frac support, well cleanup, flowback, and production services to customers. Well Testing and Flowback crews use state of the art equipment to monitor, record, and report the status of well conditions throughout the life cycle of the well.
OPERATIONAL
TECHNOLOGY
Select’s Operational Technology service line is on the cutting edge of oilfield automation and telemetry control. Operational Technology employees utilize industry leading technology to survey and monitor bodies of water, automate pumping equipment, and deploy remote telemetry equipment that enables real time data viewing.
