Job Description 

Select’s Facilities Foreman will run the facility in an orderly fashion while maintaining a clean and safe environment.  They will be responsible to ensure all of the facility employees understand and are competent in their respective assignments.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

  • Supervise and coordinate all facility employees.
  • Keep facility in good working order.
  • Order all facility supplies.
  • Assist and train facility employees.
  • Write purchase orders for facility supplies.
  • Replace damaged rental and facility equipment.
  • Conduct safety meetings.
  • Meet with other company representatives to find the best products and supplies.
  • Complete work orders.
  • Understand and operate the computer system efficiently.
  • Call companies to pick up facility waste.
  • Call contractors for repair problems.
  • Complete monthly truck reports.
  • Work weekend back-up shift to assist facility employees when required.
  • Keep a record and day planner of ongoing jobs.
  • Conduct weekly operation meeting with facility employees for questions, concerns and supplies.
  • Preventative maintenance on company vehicles (get oil changes, tire rotations and send for repairs).

Requirements

  • 2-3 years supervisory experience.

  • Demonstrate initiative to learn and develop new skill.
  • Experience in energy industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote  effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Physical Demands and Exposures

  • Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
  • Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
  • Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
