Job Description

Business Unit: Water Transfer

Water Transfer Laborer

Do you like diagnosing mechanical problems?  Like repairing and rebuilding equipment?  Want to work in the oilfield?  Keep reading.

What you will do.

As a Water Transfer Mechanic, you will maintain transportation fleet ensuring the safety and protection of employees, clients and general public including the environment.  You will also be responsible for maintaining the large pumps used to transfer thousands of barrels of water during fracing operations.

What you need to know.

You will always have something to work on.  Whether it’s one of the centrifugal pumps, or a vehicle from the fleet, there will always be equipment that needs tuning up.

Why you want this job.

You won’t always be working on trucks, and you won’t always be working on pumps, so it won’t be repetitious.  The operators out in the field will rely on you to keep Select’s fleet and equipment running in a safe manner, and we think you will find a sense of pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Select Energy Services participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.  If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, Select is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.  Select only uses E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
